Rhapsody of the Seas belongs to the famous Royal Caribbean fleet. She’s 297 meters long and can accomodate up to 2435 passengers. The ship has been in service since 1997 and some refurbishment was needed.

In March 2012 Rhapsody of the Seas entered Singapore’s Sembawang Shipyard to begin a month-long, 54 million USD drydock and to undergo a major revitalization and emerge with an array of new amenities.

The huge amount of money transformed the ship into a new chic and sophisticated venue featuring enriching daytime activities, dazzling nightly entertainment and jaw-dropping aerial spectacles. All staterooms aboard Rhapsody of the Seas received a complete make over with new furnishings, carpet, flat panel televisions and more. The ship received a digital way-finding system and her guests can now enjoy a poolside movie with the addition of an outdoor LED screen.
